This is a reconstruction project proposal for a brick building constructed more than 100 years ago. It had been part of a manor building assembly where it had served as a single-family house.
The proposal is to reconstruct the building as a 2-storey single-family house while preserving its beautiful brick facade that has to undergo refurbishment in the reconstruction process.
In the design proposal the ground floor is dedicated for primary living spaces – living room, dining room, kitchen and fireplace area. Also an extension will be established that will serve as a porch for reading the paper and daydreaming. The top floor has a more quiet function – almost its whole entirety is dedicated for bedrooms.
